Such a fabulous, warm, delicious place to get bread, muffins, scones, cookies, or a cup of coffee! Right when you walk in they offer you free slices of bread to sample - sometimes it's even warm! The special bread selections change every other day, but they carry basics every day like the awesome white bread or honey whole wheat. As for my favorite breads I LOVE the golden cheddar garlic, cinnamon swirl, Oregon herb, and their cornbread when in season! It's all made fresh every day and you can smell the fresh bread and cookies when you walk in. The cookies are incredible- Dillons (oatmeal walnut chocolate) and the oatmeal raisin are to die for and I hate raisins! They also have snicker doodle and peanut butter chocolate! You can purchase by the cookie or a 6-pack! Finally their "trek bars" or version of an energy bar are to die for and great for people who are active and need a boost of energy. The ingredients are all listed and no preservatives or chemicals in any of their product. The white bread is: flour, water, honey and yeast and it is by far the best white bread around! Who knew bread came in 4 ingredients. The atmosphere at this place is super hip, relaxed and fun. The staff is always friendly and they all really love bread and baking. Any questions you may have they'll answer. You can also make custom orders for bread bowls or special breads! The decor is fresh farm styled and michigan historical vintage pieces. Their gift baskets are always great to bring to a party! Prices for a loaf range from $4.5-6.75! I totally recommend this place and know if you try it you will love it!

This place has great bread and some of the nicest employees around. Read the ingredients list on your wonder bread bag and you'll really appreciate the natural taste and feel of real bread!

I LOVE YOU GREAT HARVEST BREAD COMPANY AND YOUR STAFF!!!!!!!!!! The BEST bread one could EVER taste and experience, it's just amazing, the atmosphere is cool, and the staff is friendly and warm! :) Definite A++++++ Keep it up guys!!!!

I go here every week to stock up on bread because it is the best I've ever had! All of the people are really nice and friendly (if you go in about once a week they really begin to get to know you). The samples are great, you can sample basically anything they have that day and most of the time it's still warm! All of their breads are amazing and their cookies, scones, and muffins are some of the best out there. The Trek Bars they make are a really good chewy granola bar that packs a lot of good things in one tiny package. Everything about this place is amazing!

WOW!!!! Free samples of the best , warm different but amazing bread you will ever taste! The people who work there are fun and friendly, I wish I worked there!! For real! My husband and I stopped in while waiting for a pizza from next door. By the time we left we were so full from all the great samples we couldnt eat the pizza! Its not expensive at all we will be back often!

This place is amazing. I'm sort of biased (I used to work here when I was younger), but honestly, this place is unique, and has about the best bread, muffins, and cookies in the world (note, the breads are mostly whole-grain and wheat varieties - some white breads, but no hard crusts, last time I checked). The loaves are hearty, healthy, enormous, and last forever (well, 7-14 days on the counter) without artificial preservatives. They mill the flour in-store pretty much daily. Cookies? Dope. Muffins? The bomb. They have a bunch of other surprises too. The best part about the store is the unique cast of characters - from zany, rock n' roll employees to regular customers who know everyone on a first-name basis. This place is random in a good way. Panera Bread on acid! For real though, check it out: free samples, great music, and coffee and an oatbran muffin for $2.00.
